I have always seen myself an artist, but have only considered myself a designer the past 2 years. What started my passion for design was a Public Relations position in my community college drama club where I designed playbills and posters, advertisements for campus events, and even wrote a handful of press releases that went on to be published in the local newspaper. While my first love is traditional illustration, I find myself learning to love graphic design more and more. The older I get, the more clearly I see what it is to be an artist. As an Interdisciplinary Studies major, I also create with my writing and abilities to market both visual and written work.
