I was surprised to discover my passion for graphic design. Although I have an artistic side, I never expected to be where I am now. My interest in it began with simply becoming aware of how much design is in my life. I’d experience something good and wonder how it came to be, or I’d experience something that frustrated me and wonder why it wasn’t done better. Understanding these outcomes and how they make me feel sparked an interest in wanting to know more about the processes behind them.I have found that understanding design from a problem solving point of view has really nurtured my design process into something that is as focused on function as it is on form.
Non-Design Passions: I have a love for true crime, hockey, and Jokes
Irrational Fears: Losing all of my work knowing that I already have it back up on a hard drive; and a never ending fear of heights.
