My family never fails to remind me that my Terrible Twos age crimes consisted of turning on and off the computers and running around the house armed with my grandfather’s digital camera. Who would have thought that my entire life would end up revolving around those screens as a graphic design major with a photography minor?
Fueled by the limitless creativity that goes with graphic design, I remain engaged and always ready and willing to try new things. Determined and ambitious, I do not give up on an idea at the first sign of difficulty because I know that sometimes the trickiest problems can result in incredibly creative solutions with a little perseverance. I am particularly interested in branding identity, publication design, and UI/UX. I also enjoy getting to incorporate my own photography into my design work. The pandemic allowed me the opportunity to capture the personalities of my peers; by taking their portraits for the first virtual portfolio show. Another pandemic positive: I spent a lot of time improving new skills. So, you can probably find me huddled over Illustrator, surrounded by piles of yarn, or endlessly scrolling through product photography on Pinterest, probably all while indulging in my weakness for Italian food.
