The ECO student organization recently completed a two-year endeavor of designing and constructing a recycling kiosk for the College Center. The purpose of the kiosk is to raise awareness about recycling on campus and educate people on what can and cannot be recycled.
This project was initiated through Shelby Weber, a 2014 Interior Design graduate, while she was president of the ECO student organization. This spring, the project was completed with the help of many La Roche Interior Design students, the support of several staff members within Facilities Management and the current organization president, Marley Romano. The kiosk was ‘revealed’ on Earth Day.
